麻豆社区 Pembroke has officially transitioned to Degree Works, a web-based degree audit tool that makes it easier for students and advisors to track progress toward degree completion in real-time.

Degree Works presents a student鈥檚 academic progress in a simple-to-follow checklist. The program helps students and advisors make educated decisions in course selection that ultimately lead to the successful completion of degree requirements.

鈥淭his will allow students, professional advisors and faculty advisors to have more meaningful conversations about academic support services, co-curricular activities and career preparation,鈥 said Dr. Diane Prusank, provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs. 鈥淲e are thankful for the financial support provided by the university and the work that has been done by the Office of the Registrar and the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) staff to make this student success initiative possible.鈥

Students on campus will continue to have access to uAchieve鈥撯搕he current audit tool鈥撯揻or course registration through August.

Degree Works organizes coursework in an easy-to-read degree audit that summarizes program requirements and progress to completion. Students will access Degree Works via BraveWeb and immediately be presented with their audit.

The degree audit provides a comprehensive checklist of requirements for the student鈥檚 degree, major, minor and concentration. Each block within the audit works as a checklist with boxes that are automatically checked when a requirement is met based on your completed, currently enrolled or future registration.鈥

Degree Works allows students to:

  • Determine what requirements students have completed and remaining to complete their degree.鈥

  • View individual course grades, cumulative grade point average (GPA) and major GPA.鈥

  • View transfer credits, waivers and exceptions applied. 鈥

  • Confirm academic standing.鈥

  • Estimate how many semesters it will take students to graduate.鈥

  • Learn the prerequisites and corequisites for courses by clicking on the course numbers.鈥

  • Use the What-If option to see how students鈥 coursework could be applied to a different major, minor, etc.

  • Establish a schedule plan for timely degree completion.鈥
