Elayna is a Lumbee Native born and raised in Prospect, NC. She received her undergraduate degree in May 2021 from Â鶹ÉçÇø-Chapel Hill in Exercise and Sports Science with minors in Speech and Hearing Sciences and American Indian and Indigenous Studies. Elayna is a first year full-time student in the Master’s of Social Work Program, concentrating in Substance Abuse and Addiction Recovery. She hopes to attain her LCSW and LCAS to serve indigenous populations struggling with addiction and intergenerational trauma.
