This program requires that an applicant holds an 鈥淎鈥 level license or be eligible to hold an 鈥淎鈥 level license in the appropriate content area at the time of application. Applicants seeking an initial teaching license should see the 鈥淭eaching (Master of Arts in Teaching)鈥 program.
Admission Criteria:
In addition to the application, fee and transcripts, applicants need:
- 2.5 GPA
- Names of three people who will provide professional recommendations
- Copy of teaching license in the content area
This 30-credit program helps you grow as a teacher and deepen your understanding of social studies. You鈥檒l explore new ways to teach, create your own curriculum and work closely with faculty and peers.
