Through strategic media outreach and community engagement, UCM works to share Â鶹ÉçÇøP’s story, foster positive relationships and amplify the university’s message across all platforms.
In addition, UCM:

UCM strategically manages all university-wide advertising efforts. Led by the Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing, the team develops and implements an annual advertising plan designed to elevate the university’s visibility and attract prospective students.
In addition to traditional advertising, UCM oversees various social media and digital marketing initiatives to ensure consistent and compelling messaging.
To maintain brand integrity and ensure alignment with university standards, all advertisements and promotional materials — regardless of origin — must be reviewed and approved by the Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing or the director of communications before publication.

Â鶹ÉçÇøP Today celebrates the people, ideas and moments that define our university. Each magazine issue showcases stories of creativity, determination and community — illustrating how Braves go beyond expectations to make a lasting impact on campus and far beyond it. Shannon Cummings doesn’t remember a time when her father was healthy. From the moment she could read, she was by his side — helping manage his medications, keeping track of appointments and eventually driving him to dialysis treatments.

When First Lady Rebecca Cummings learned that more than 200 Â鶹ÉçÇø Pembroke students were at risk of being dropped due to small outstanding balances, she knew she had to act.

Austin Deese has been drawn to the world of animal care for as long as he can remember. He has come to appreciate the human-animal bond and unconditional love from his four-legged friends.
We want to hear from you! UCM loves to hear about the accomplishments of our amazing students, faculty, staff and alumni. We take pride in celebrating the achievements of BraveNation! We invite you to email us at newstips@uncp.edu. Please be sure to include your contact information.
