Marketing & Advertising

UCM strategically manages all university-wide advertising efforts. Led by the Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing, the team develops and implements an annual advertising plan designed to elevate the university’s visibility and attract prospective students.

In addition to traditional advertising, UCM oversees various social media and digital marketing initiatives to ensure consistent and compelling messaging.

To maintain brand integrity and ensure alignment with university standards, all advertisements and promotional materials — regardless of origin — must be reviewed and approved by the Vice Chancellor for Communications and Marketing or the director of communications before publication.

Â鶹ÉçÇø Pembroke has partnered with Affinity Licensing to license the university’s marks (logos and seal) to assure quality and to control usage of those marks. Trademark licensing creates cooperative working relationships between Â鶹ÉçÇøP, the manufacturers of approved and authorized products, and the retail community. It ensures that all merchandise bearing the university’s marks promotes and protects the image of the university while fulfilling the needs of consumers.

UCM manages the retail and trademark licensing programs. If you are a vendor interested in retailing merchandise with official Â鶹ÉçÇøP logos, the first step is to become a licensed vendor through our program's manager. Campus departments must use a licensed vendor for any items ordered that incorporate Â鶹ÉçÇøP trademarks (excluding printed material).
