Program Highlights

The MA in Science Education is a 30-credit hour, hybrid program designed for licensed teachers. You鈥檒l take 12 hours of core education courses in teaching, research and leadership strategies. Then choose from subjects like biology, chemistry and earth science for your 18 hours of graduate-level science courses. You can focus your courses in one area or mix them across disciplines. When you graduate, you鈥檒l qualify for the North Carolina 鈥淢鈥� license in science teaching.
